Rudy's BBQ is definitely not the best in Texas. Its a chain and when the chain reaches out further from its origin, the quality goes down. TX has some of the best BBQ in the country, problem is you have to come and get it here instead of wait for a chain.

I live in Northern California and belong to sever vintage trailer camping groups. My time in the group is made magical because of my baby Playmor. So cute, compact, but enough space for my 5'11" frame. I need decals of insignia for my baby. Anyone know where to find identifying signs, insignias??

Not at all! Abut $350 for the stripping and the powder coating for all the cabinets. The heater grates were $10 a piece. This is unbelievably cheap, tho. Most other place charge at least double this.

Another one! Excellent. Looks like a Model 140. Hard to tell the year, though. The serial/model number should be etched on the tongue, and the fine folks at Play-Mor ought to be able to help you decipher it to determine its year. (573) 455-2387info@goplaymor.com

Here is mine I just got. I need to change the camo color and can't decide about the inside but thinking something like this other pic. I would love thoughts on the year and make and any other suggestions on restoration. I also need new decal stickers. Anyone know where I can get these?

Here is my little beauty - 1975 Play Mor 14 (or 15?) - Got a ton of work to do on it, mostly the hideous roof & framing. All original Interior/exterior, except for exterior replacement lights. More pics later!

Yes, I am a fellow Kansas Citian who moved out to CO a few years ago and have yet to find a good place in Colorado Springs. Rudy's was definitely not the place, it was awful. I will be looking into Phat Hatties, thanks for suggestion. I wholeheartedly agree with Oklahoma Joe's and Jack Stack being in my top five of KC bbq. Seriously, people, take a trip to KC, eat some bbq, and then see if you still like Rudy's ... I doubt you will.

You all really need to get out and eat real bbq. It's only considered the best in CO b/c you're comparing crap to crap. So yes, Rudy's is the best crappiest bbq in CO. Take a trip to KC, you'll definitely see what real BBQ is supposed to taste like.

Thanks for visiting our blog! There used to be a vintage camper parts store in Oakland, CA. I googled quickly and couldn't find it. But you might want to delve deeper. Also, ebay is usually good for that kind of stuff, as is general vintage camper message boards. Another possible idea is to go to a window and glass shop in your area and have them make one for you. The playmor windows aren't too fancy, they may be able to do it. Good luck!

I bought a late 60s model Play Mor camper last week. I saw it and fell in love with it!! This is my first vintage restoration. My front window has been taken out and replaced with an air conditioning unit. I want to get rid of the unit and put the window back in. Is there any where that I can find replacement windows for this camper? Audra

I did find some dry rot on the paneling. I didn't make it to the gathering so I don't know about the bottom frame. But it does not leak. He did not use the right kind of paint on the outside as it is flaking off. So it will need some work but stil campable.
